Kaleidascopes 14"- 3 installed SOLD
This series was made by first painting many sheets of paper in random and abstract designs. The round surfaces are coated in acrylic paint. Then I start to cut each triangle from the papers varying sizes and colors. Each piece is glued on and then covered with a coat of resin. When the resin is cured I begin the process again and finish with resin. I do this process about five times. The result is a deep and richly colored Kaleidoscope effect with a glassy surface.

Under Control pays homage to the precariousness of space travel. As a 9 year old witness to the moon landing I am forever enchanted by all things space related. The long and dubious leash in this work says it all, how did they ever make it home?

16” round, 2018, $900
This piece is about finding fun in the simple things. Kids are especially good at that. We all have a huge capacity for joy but we forget to utilize it on a daily basis.
The stitchery floss is a reminder of my youth and first art supplies.
